Co-Founder and CEO of theICEway, Ian Richardson, is working with Seatrade Cruise on a series of podcasts based upon how technology has grown in cruise and how it will be used in the future to address pre- and post-COVID challenges in the industry.
Our ecosystem of companies consists of the team here at ICE, plus cyber security and software testing experts at CRIBB and eTestware, respectively.
Together, we have been helping clients in Cruise for more than two decades and are delighted to have established long-lasting relationships with the industry’s key figures, from cruise lines all the way through to the leading names from the trade press – and few of those can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Seatrade Cruise.
The internationally renowned Seatrade brand is seen as a crucial communication gateway for cruise as a whole, providing the industry with a host of informative publications and regular updates from the popular online Seatrade Cruise News portal.
Perhaps best known for their annual calendar of events, Seatrade Cruise brings the cruise community together for Seatrade Cruise Global, Seatrade Cruise Med / Europe, Seatrade Cruise Asia Pacific and the always hugely anticipated and hotly contested Seatrade Cruise Awards.
This year, Seatrade Cruise Virtual has been set up especially for 2020 and given the way the year has gone so far, it stands to be a key event. Seatrade Cruise Talks
Seatrade are currently producing a series of podcasts on how technology solutions in cruise have developed and grown in recent years, and how IT might be used in the future to tackle the issues faced by the industry in a post-COVID world.
theICEway’s very own Ian Richardson is on board with the podcasts, sharing his knowledge of cruise IT with fellow experts and asking them relevant questions about how they see technology generating potential solutions.
“Post Pandemic IT: Opportunities in Changing Operations” is the title of the series and episode one was broadcast last week. In it, Richardson speaks at length with Jay Schneider, SVP Digital for the Royal Caribbean Group, on their efforts to improve passenger experience. This fascinating podcast reveals how those efforts tie-in with measures taken against COVID, and you can listen to it here.
We will include links to future episodes in our blog section, so watch this space…
