Last night I was lucky enough to be at the Travolution Dinner and Awards. On top of being an excellent evening, with great food and company, for me it was fantastic to see some very deserving winners receive their awards. And I do truly mean they were deserving as I was honoured to be part of the judging panel for the technology awards.
As a travel technology consultant, we deal with travel technology solutions on a daily basis and we see what works well (and sometimes what doesn’t) in real life implementations for our clients. Therefore, it is always great for us to see the new innovations on the market, helping us to advise our clients as to the best solution available for any given project.
Judges do always say it, but we really did see some innovative technology entered for the awards, and I’m not solely talking about the winners in each of those categories. I think we will see some great things in the travel technology sector over the coming months, so watch this space.
