The 2019 International Cruise Summit in Madrid is almost here and if you have already booked your place you have a lot to look forward to. Day 1 will see sessions taking place on industry transformation, gastronomy as a marketing concept for cruise lines and “From concept to christening – bringing a ship to the market”, none of which should be missed. There will also be presentations from Silversea Cruises, Tomas Tillberg Design and Blue World Voyages, plus plenty of networking opportunities, a Q&A slot with the Director of the conference and much more.
Day 2 sees a discussion with the CEO of TUI Cruises, Wybcke Meier, along with another round of interesting presentations and the one we here at TheICEway are looking forward to in particular; a session entitled, “Data – The new gold”, to be moderated by our very own co-founder and CEO, Ian Richardson.
This session will focus upon how data driven cruise lines are increasingly looking to use insights in order to gain competitive advantage, with a panel who will be looking to collectively answer the question, ‘how far can technology shape the cruise industry of the future’?
