Coronavirus Update

The team at ICE Technology Services, part of theICEway ecosystem, have spent decades working together with our client’s IT teams to deliver, and it is this spirit of togetherness that we believe will help us through this very challenging period.

We work together with clients in the cruise and travel industries, along with healthcare and retail, and have experienced a great many highs and lows with them – but we always share these experiences together.

Here at theICEway we celebrate diversity but recognise that we are all the same, no matter where we are from or what we believe in, and this pandemic is something that is affecting us all together.

Our teams are all following the advice that is being given out on trying to stay well:

- Wash your hands
- Use a tissue for coughs
- Avoid touching your face

We have also implemented several new internal measures in our offices designed to keep the virus from breaking out and spreading, and we wish you all the very best in your own efforts.

We are encouraging any of our staff experiencing any related symptoms to work from home instead of coming into the office, and we do so not only to protect their well-being but also to protect the well-being of others – because we are all together in this.

At the time of writing, on Monday 16th, we were all bearing witness to seemingly no end of unprecedented acts taking place around the globe:

- Authorities in the US advise against gatherings of more than 50 people

- The Delhi government invokes a 123-year-old law preventing large gatherings in the city

- Coronavirus infections outside China pass 87,000 whilst case numbers in China are 80,860

These are but a handful of examples being reported literally as we speak, offering further demonstration of just how serious the current situation is for all of us.

Good luck and please remember to not only look after yourself but to look after others, a motto we have taken to heart with our teams both here and abroad and our clients worldwide, because we are always together.
